Lunchtime seminar – The future of public relations and corporate communications’ practice

Today, thousands of people work in the communications field. What will the profession look like in the future? What role will communicators play in business, government and society? Our guest speaker, Dr Jon White, will provide an overview of the future of public relations and corporate communications’ practice based on a recent study he led in the UK for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR). Location*: The Swiss Press Club, Route de Ferney 106, La Pastorale, 1202 Geneva.
Fee: CHF 15.- per person includes drinks and snacks – payable at the door.

Speaker: Dr Jon White is a consultant specialising in management and organisation development, public affairs and PR management. He holds a doctorate from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and has written extensively in public affairs, public relations and corporate communications. He is visiting professor for the MA in media and communications at the International University in Geneva.

 On the 26th and 27th of March the Media Communications department of Webster University Geneva will hold it’s third annual conference on its campus in Bellevue, Geneva. In collaboration with the Institute for Media and Global Governance,  the theme of the conference is ‘New media tools and human rights’.
