IABC Event in Geneva

Written Communication: million dollar cost or strategic asset? That will be the question addressed by Sarah Clark, a consultant and trainer, at the next IABC seminar, following their AGM. 

The event will take place at 18:30 on Thursday 29 January at the Hotel Bristol in Geneva. Cost: Members CHF 25, non-members CHF 35.

interior design courses for communicators

We’ve writtten before about biology courses for communicators and here’s another course that could also be of interest to communicators – interior design courses for non-designers! No doubt this could be of interest to communicators working in image management and related fields.

Jorge Cañete, an interior designer and marketer based in Geneva, is offering two day workshops on interior design for non-designers. The courses take place in Geneva – in English – and will be offered every month between January to June 2009.

IABC Event in Zurich – 10 December 2008

Zurich Financial Services will host a session titled “Connecting with customers – employee engagement in driving transformational change” presented by Deborah Hudson, Head of Internal Communications, Katherine Tersago, Head of Online Marketing, and Christian Aepli, Head of Advertising Media.

 

You will learn about Zurich’s recently launched global brand campaign and the integrated communication program to support it.

Eurocomm conference February 2009, Lugano, Switzerland

The International Association of Business Communicators has announced its annual conference for Europe and the Middle East – and it’s taking place in Lugano, Ticino, Switzerland.

It’s scheduled for 9-10 February 2009 and will take place at the Università della Svizzera italiana.

World Usability Day 2008 – conference on usability at the Swissotel Metropole – 13 Nov 2008

For those working in web communications, Telono, a European user experience consultancy specialising in usability engineering and web accessibility is organising a conference presenting perspectives by experts on usability. 

The conference will be held on Thursday, 13 November 2008 at 17h at the Swissôtel Métropole, downtown Geneva. Entrance is free of charge but registration is necessary.
